I swear forty has been a decade where puberty steps up and takes over my skin. I have break-outs constantly. In my teenage years, I would have just bought any acne product that promised results.–After all, the most important thing then was to get rid of any imperfection, whatever means necessary. Visiting skinlightskinbright.com can allow you to look at a few opportunities that can be more suitable to you as an adult. From guidelines of what to buy to natural and safe remedies for your skin. Now that I am older I value my skin, and I’ve seen what some of those brands do to my towels–
I don’t know about you but if it bleaches my towel, what is it doing to my face?!
When break-out struck, I reached for Relogy, a skin care system for acne prone skin. The “system” retails for $49.95 and includes a rinse-free treatment foam, skin balancing lotion and a spot treatment pen.
After one use I didn’t notice anything outrageously different. Where I have noticed a difference is on the cystic acne that I get on my chin. It does take a few days but far fewer than my other products.
There are some things I absolutely love about this skin care line. First, the dual-action treatment foam can be used either as a face wash, or you can put it on and leave it without rinsing. I started by using it as a face wash, and I liked it, but I like it as a leave on treatment. It absorbs the oils and leaves my face feeling clean without a nasty residue. This product does contain salicylic acid so be sure to wear sunscreen–you should be doing that anyway.
The skin balancing lotion is my absolute favorite. It contains certified organic coconut milk, virgin coconut oil, and jojoba. All ingredients that I’ve read are great for acne prone skin. Ironically, it does not smell like coconut. I don’t think it offers much of a fragrance at all. A little goes a long way–a pea-sized amount will cover the entire face. It’s not at all greasy, and it’s not heavy–not even in the muggy weather here in Winston-Salem. It moisturizes and leaves my skin feeling smooth and clean.
I don’t think I’m committed enough for the targeted acne spot treatment pen. I haven’t been dedicated to its use. I suppose its working magic would depend on the size of the pimple. When I have used it, there has been no irritation. It contains seaweed extract which I think is pretty neat.
This is an excellent line of products that seem to work for me. I also love that Relogy is cruelty-Free, 100 percent Vegan and 100 percent benzoyl peroxide free.
