I am at least the fifth generation of women to make this recipe. It has been handed down from one Mom to her Daughter and so on until here I am. I will pass this on to my girls and hope they continue the legacy. We call them Sticky Buns, however, others refer to them as Cinnamon Rolls. Regardless of how you name them, the taste will have you coming back for more!
Thank you to my sister for reminding me to share this recipe.

2 cups milk and 2 TBS Crisco – heated to between 105 and 115 degrees

Basic Bread Recipe:
Mix together with 3 cups of flour until it has a spongy consistency. Let this rise for about 45 minutes until it is all bubbly and twice the size.
Use the dough hook and mix in enough flour to make the dough smooth and elastic. When you stick your thumb (dipped in flour) into the dough, it should come out clean. Put this into a greased bowl and cover. Let it rise about 1 1/2 hours until doubled in size.
Punch dough down and you can either make rolls, loaf, etc with the dough OR
pull off roll size amounts and roll in cinnamon sugar into snakes. roll into cinnamon rolls. Place them in a greased cake pan, top with a smidge of butter and more cinnamon sugar.
Let rise until doubled in size.
Bake at 375 for 20 minutes.
*one packet of yeast holds approximately 2.25 teaspoons yeast.
