We moved to the South and we are discovering there are so many pests and bugs, far more than the dry climate of Utah we originated from, namely fleas and ticks.
We inspected her and didn’t see any other ticks.
That is until the next morning when I woke up and went to tell Bailey Mae good-bye for the day. There beneath her chin was another tick! This one had been eating at her all night from the looks of its swollen, grey body. We went back to the mite removal procedure, but Bailey Mae already knew what happens when she is on her back and her “parents” are hovering over her. It was far more dramatic.
People! These two ticks traumatized us all. I now scour over Bailey Mae’s fur. She hid under the couch for a week, and if my husband and I are together near her, she will run to hide. The kiddos didn’t want to pet her because…well, ticks are disgusting!
Now, I’ve taken over again and we’re back to the Hartz Flea and Tick Drops. It really works at keeping fleas and ticks off of Bailey Mae. It even repels mosquitoes so they don’t bite her.
Hartz Flea and Tick drops come in a small tube–about the size of super glue. You simply open the applicator and starting just above the shoulder blades run the drops down the back to the tail. One application lasts for 30 days and then you reapply.
Fleas and ticks are NOT cool, but your pet is and Hartz is here to help.
Hartz, experts in flea and tick solutions for over 55 years, have a great national consumer ‘No F&T’ campaign to educate pet owners on the importance of year-round flea and tick protection.
The primary flea and tick season in the United States is April – September; however, fleas survive throughout the year. A consistently protect pet has a stronger defense against flea and tick infestation.
Hartz has a complete line of flea and tick products, including collars, shampoos, home and garden sprays, and its best prevention product; Hartz® UltraGuard Pro® Flea & Tick Drops for cats and dogs.
Renowned veterinarian, Dr. Bernadine Cruz, through her practice based in Laguna Woods, California, as well as through her internet-based radio show ‘The Pet Doctor’ heard on PetLifeRadio, states, “I have a special interest in flea and tick care for dogs and cats. When applied consistently, pet owners can safeguard their animals and their homes year-round; eliminating costly veterinary office visits for infestation and help protect the health of their pets and family. I am thrilled to be a part of this educational campaign.”
