BeKOOOL’s new Itch Relief Patches Something to Celebrate
We moved to North Carolina and spring has us searching for itch relief! We have enjoyed the magic of spring as the trees have gone from sticks to flowers to vibrant green leaves. To the children, this magic has occurred over night. Everything is green and inviting.
Li’l Man loves to play outdoors so the wooded areas naturally attract him. He spent hours building a secret fort and then one day casually asked, “Mom, what’s this bump? It really itches.”
And that was the beginning of Poison Ivy. It covered his abdomen. It took over his arms. It creeped up his necks. It coated his arms.
I washed sheets and clothing and towels like a mad woman.
I bought him a soap to stop the itch that cost $15. It wouldn’t have been so bad except I had to apply it. It had to dry. He had to rinse it off.
It was a vicious cycle that went on for days. Ten long days of him complaining he itched. Ten long days of the soap routine.
Itch Relief as easy as “peel and apply”?
Shortly after those long days and nights I learned about BeKOOOL’s Instant Itch Relief Patches. They are the first-of-its-kind patch to protect the irritated area and prevent further infections from scratches. They are clear circles that you simply “peel and apply” to the area.
How to Use and NOT Use the Itch Relief Patches:
The patches are medicated and offer fast-acting targeted relief from itching due to insect bites, minor skin irritation, rashes due to poison ivy and cuts or scrapes.
Simply peel one of the sticky clear patches from the sheet and apply to the irritated area. There are 18 patches to a box and come in a pouch, making it easy to take the BeKOOOL Itch Relief patches with you in a purse or backpack.
DO NOT us the patches on chicken pox, measles, blisters, eczema, mucous membranes, near the eyes or on extensive areas of skin. Do NOT use the patches more than once and do not apply a patch more than three times a day to the same affected area.
But Do they offer Itch Relief?
When we received our box of the itch relief patches, the poison ivy was gone. I put the box on the shelf and thought nothing of it.
Then last night Miss M complained of itching and broke out, looking like this:
She’s been taking Benadryl. We’re pretty sure they are hives from eating a honeysuckle.
This afternoon she said there was a tiny spot on her leg that she just wanted to “reach down and scratch it off”. I told her not to, but we all know how itching is difficult to resist. Then I remembered the Itch Relief Patches.
Please note that her body, with the exception of her legs and lower arms is covered with hives. There is no way I would apply these patches to large areas, but this area is small and the only area she is feeling the need to itch.
I peeled off one of the small disc patches and applied it to where she told me she needed relief.
I found the discs easy to work with, however, taking the sheets out of the pouch presented an issue as a couple of them folded back and stuck to the foil lining. It’s no biggie, but be aware and puff the pouch before removing.
As an added bonus the patches stay put even in the water. She wore hers in the bathtub and there were no issues at all.
