Photowall provided me with a free canvas print in exchange for this post. All opinions and my love for photos remain my own.
As the mom to many, I have learned that children grow too fast. I’m learning that there is something magical about a photograph. It seems to slow time down, silence the heart, and allow me to focus on the people in front of me; To experience that moment again and again.
Some of my photos of my children are good. Some could be better. Either way, they are a moment frozen in time, an experience where there was a connection. Photos feed my soul.
I recently partnered with Photowall to bring one such moment to life on a canvas.
Photowall, a Swedish company, specializes in creating canvas prints and wall murals. Photowall prints and murals are environmentally friendly, fire-retardant per Swedish standards and do not fade in sunlight.
The company offers a wide selection of beautiful images to choose from in more than 20 popular categories: animals, cities, nature, people, music, and sports. There is also an option to upload your own image.
I opted to upload my own image.
I had spent hours clicking through photo after photo on my computer, seeking the right image to print.
I pulled a few images aside. Three of William. I was almost ready to commit when I found this image. I don’t have any pictures of Zac and Kyra together in my home. Now the two of them are so far apart. Zac is in Miami and Kyra is in Sacramento. It was the perfect image to give my heart joy coast-to-coast.
The photo I chose is one where I ventured back to 2007, a family vacation in the Uintahs. We celebrated Abi’ s birthday. The kiddos hiked and rode ATVs, and there was fishing. As a mom, it was a rare moment where I caught Zac and Kyra together. They were just teenagers—13 years for Kyra and 14 years for Zac. They are now 24 and 23!!
Trust me, the picking of the picture was the most difficult of the process.
Once I found my picture, ordering was easy. It took just a few minutes to upload my image, enter the size I wanted, and place my order.
The Photowall website is user-friendly. My order was confirmed, printed and delivered via DHL within 5-days.
When my delivery arrived, the canvas print was securely packaged to prevent damage.
All the hardware needed is provided.
The frame has to be assembled.
Once the frame is assembled, the canvas print attaches to the frame through a self-adhesive already on the wood.
I am so happy with the quality of the canvas. The material is high quality, and the colors are vibrant and as beautiful as my image. It’s a durable canvas that adds so much joy to my dining room.
It feels good to see my children. Sometimes face-to-face isn’t an option, but now, every time I prepare dinner, I am reminded how fortunate I am to be the mom to many and have these memories.
I bet you have a favorite memory frozen in time in an image. Consider a Photowall canvas and display it to remind you every day of that joy.
