My friend, Briana, inspires me in so many ways. She is Super Woman and my first resource when I’m looking for a delicious, family friendly, and affordable recipe. From simple summer recipes to my favorite, Cupcakes, Briana has the answer! Sure, there’s Pinterest, and trust me, I spend hours there, but Briana knows how to save me time and still get great results. I was surprised to hear her confess that HER inspiration comes from the Kraft Foods Cooking Up Good page!
Kraft has created a fantastic page where you can watch technique videos from top-food bloggers to learn new kitchen skills and unlock coupons, create a collection of your favorite Kraft Recipes and be entered for a chance to win a $100, $250, or $1,000 Walmart gift card, plus find all the Kraft favorites your family loves.
Briana’s known for her cupcakes. She’s baked and decorated thousands. Here’s her work at her son’s piano recital:
It’s the cupcakes that came from Briana’s kitchen. Pay attention to the one’s on the cake stand second from the right, those delicious beauties came from Kraft.
Here they are before they made their way to the cupcake tower.
Totally fun and delicious!

- Boston Cream Pie
Let’s focus on that last one.
Boston Cream Pie at 130 calories per serving. That’s impressive, but Briana, being the super woman that she is took it a step further. Eyes on the “standard calories for diet desserts” her goal was 100 calories per serving.
Using Kraft’s Boston Cream Pie Made Over recipe, she substituted the angel food cake for sugar free angel free cake and opted for sugar free vanilla pudding made with skim milk. And just like that Kraft and Briana have reinvented the Boston Cream Pie! Briana’s version has just 96 calories per serving!
Whether you’re looking to bake a dessert for family or a piano recital, seeking a new recipe to try or looking for your favorite dishes with a makeover, Kraft is a great resource. One of the best cook’s I know, uses the Kraft site all the time with results that have her friends, family and co-workers raving!
