If you are a parent, then looking after your kids can be challenging at times.
That has been especially true of late with the COVID-19 lockdown, meaning kids are learning at home as well.
If you are finding it hard, the first thing to do is to take some time for yourself.
Whether you relax with online casino games at BetMGM Casino NJ or enjoy a glass of wine come the evening, it will help you to feel better.
One other thing you could do to lower stress levels as a parent is to plan out new family meals to make.
It might not sound like much fun, but it is, and you will love finding new recipes for your brood to enjoy.
The other bonus with learning fresh family meals to cook is that it stops mealtimes getting boring – both when making and eating food.
Of course, the thing is to pick new recipes for your family that are quick, tasty, and simple to make.
But which are the best ones around to learn more about?
Chili Con Carne
Chili con carne is a minced beef-based dish that certainly ticks all the boxes.
Not only is it tasty and easy to cook, but it is pretty quick with minimal effort involved.
There is no chopping or dicing at all for this basic recipe.
Your family will be sure to love this for the great taste and is also having an air of something different to entice them with.
The basic recipe requires that you first brown some minced beef before adding a touch of chili and cinnamon.
Of course, the amount of each can be adjusted for your tastes.
After frying off for a few minutes, you just add in some drained red kidney beans and a tin of peeled plum tomatoes.
Simmer the chili for around 30 minutes, and you will be good to go.
Of course, if you gently cook it for longer, the better it gets!
This recipe can also be adjusted to include onions at the initial frying stage if you like, or other spices, such as cumin or paprika.

Everyone loves Italian food for the vibrant taste it packs.
It is also usually a big hit with kids who love pasta.
If you want a change from standard pasta and sauce, why not learn how to make an authentic spaghetti bolognese?
It is much easier than you might think!
To begin with, dice up some onions, carrots, and celery to fry off in olive oil.
When they have softened a little, you can then add in enough minced beef to feed your family.
Let this all fry gently together for a few minutes until the mince is browned.
Once that happens, add in a little tomato paste, a few tins of peeled plum tomatoes and a little water to stop it being too dry.
Simply leave it to simmer on a low heat for about 20 minutes.
After that, cook your spaghetti a little before the bolognese sauce is ready to serve, before placing a pile of the pasta with some of the sauce on top on each plate.
Don’t forget the fresh parmesan shavings on top of the sauce when plated.

Indian cuisine might be a popular takeaway dish in your household, but how about making your curry instead?
As you can make it as mild or spicy as you like, it is one of the best family meal ideas to learn about.
To give it an extra twist, and to get your kids eating different foods, why not use fish in your curry?
This recipe is both super quick and easy to make.
The real secret is to buy a jar of curry paste.
Once you have gently fried off some onions and garlic in oil, adding the type and amount of paste that your family prefers is the next step.
After it has cooked for a few minutes, add in some tinned tomatoes and a little vegetable or fish stock to heat up.
You just then add in your fish to simmer in the sauce for around seven or eight minutes before serving with freshly cooked rice.
One great tip is to use a firm-fleshed fish (like cod), which will not fall apart when cooked.
