Fairies seem to, at one time or another, intrigue us. Perhaps they offer an escape or hope that there is something more out there. I hear often, “one with nature” and in exploring this with the people who say it, have discovered it means many things.
On a drive that leads to open lands, looking through pictures or hiking into a wide open meadow, I know that natural surroundings provide tranquility. A pause in the hustle and bustle of our chaotic schedule. A time to think about Fairies, or nothing at all.
Joy Smith, author of Mystical Faery Folk, a retired educator, had lived with pain from a car crash for almost three decades. That pain disappeared during a session of energy healing. She was awestruck and took a new lease on life. She now volunteers in the UK, Bosnia, France and Australia as a healer, and is sharing her connection with nature and its important influence on our well-being in her new illustrative poetry book.
The book displays Smith’s own photographs of natural settings, shows the healing powers of the Devic Realm and demonstrates how our positive energy can work together with this realm to create harmony.
With the hope of bringing awareness of the impact of our thoughts and action on all beings that exist on Earth, she showcases the beauty that surrounds us.
