Li’l Man dreams of skateboarding, surfing and all the things boys do. This summer I agreed to let his hair grow longer–trust me, it’s driving me nuts! He’s six and starting to notice things, able to determine that some brands go with some sports. It took Jake three more years to put together brands with the sports he was passionate about–skateboarding.
Now Kids Headquarters, a division of LF USA, the world’s largest retailer and manufacturer in the country designing for numerous brands, is making it easy on parents to give their children brand names without breaking the piggy bank. They offer great brands like Calvin Klein, Under Armour and Hurley lines at reasonable pricing.
We were fortunate enough to receive Hurley shorts and a Hurley tee-shirt. Li’l Man celebrated recognizing the smooth edges of the inward and outward parenthesis that create the Hurley logo immediately.
I love the simplicity of the Hurley brand. The tee shirt is a muted grey and extremely soft to the touch. It feels like a shirt that has been worn every day for a very long time. The hems are secure and it fits nicely.
The shorts are a grey and black pinstripe in a board length. They look like denim but are soft like cotton.
This is Li’l Man’s favorite outfit. I’ve been washing it three to four times a week. It continues to fit well and rather than show wash wear, it just grows more and more soft to the touch with every wash.
Even my husband, who typically only notices what the kiddos have on if it involves skulls, commented right away, giving Li’l Man a compliment on his choice in clothing. It’s been a trend as Li’l Man has received compliments from both parents and children during our outings to the park, grocery store and events. He eats it up!
He’s looking forward to wearing this outfit to school, “Maybe the first day of school” he says. It’s style and comfort we both appreciate!
Hurley is a brand name you can trust for quality. Find their product line at Macy’s or Dillard’s nationwide.
