Raise your hand if you have hair bows for girls!
Hair bows for girls are part of the gig. My girls have loved wearing headbands since they were small. We have bought headbands to coordinate with outfits and sometimes we have bought outfits to coordinate with headbands. No outfit seems complete without a hair bow.
The problem is hair bows for girls take up space. A LOT of space. We’ve hung them to ribbon, after ribbon, after ribbon hidden inside a door. We’ve put them in boxes, in drawers and more! It’s a crazy, chaotic morning when “the perfect hair bow” can’t be found. Still, we keep trying to find a system that works.
Then along comes a seven year old named Brylee Beckerman who solves the problem and creates the newest, most creative hair accessory out there, Infinity Bands by Ambrosia Designs. While my girls preferred to cry over the mangled bows and headbands, whimper at the thought of their favorite being lost in a heap of mess, Brylee took action.
The hair bows for girls clutter solution
The idea? Create one interchangeable headband and do away with the clutter. Brylee’s vision was one unique headband that had the ability to change colors, styles and embellishments.
Imagine this, Mom! ONE headband to take the place of that heap in bins!
Brylee recruited her older sister, Brady, and the two created Infinity Bands. A single headband and the option of 20 different ribbon styles and 20 embellishments to make fashion possibilities infinite.
Miss M took to this option immediately. She views it as the world’s easiest craft project and takes great pride in crafting her Infinity Band.
Here’s a look at what Miss M was sent to work with from Infinity Bands by Ambrosia Designs:
In the picture you can see there is one headband, two ribbons and two embellishments. This will make six amazing looks.
Here’s how it works:
Hold the headband at one end and pull the ribbon very tightly, while laying it in place. It should lay flat.
This creates a headband:
Wear it plain, or….
Add embellishments. The embellishments slide over the ribbon and not the headband. Once the ribbon is half way on the headband, slide the embellishment to the desired location on the headband and then place the rest of the ribbon on the headband.
This will create a headband with a hair bow.
One head band and suddenly there are infinite options with the interchangeable ribbons and embellishments.
We’re talking MUCH less space to store ONE headband and FLAT ribbons and even embellishments.
What I am really impressed with is that the headband stays put even in Miss M’s super fine hair. Usually headbands fall out, but the Infinity Band stayed snug, which made for one very happy girl!
Miss M has been changing up the headband and showing her friends just how easy hair bows for girls can be!
and then there’s these looks:
It’s a ton of fun and I just can’t believe that TWO headbands and TWO embellishments create six amazing looks: plain, each ribbon with each embellishment. It’s incredible!
