I am so blessed. I have amazing children. They are everything I dreamed they would be and more. I’m not alone, we all have incredible children.
I am very excited to introduce you to a remarkable little girl named Emily, who has been blind since birth. “Emily’s Oz,” tells the story of what Emily “sees” when she watches her favorite movie, The Wizard of Oz, and how Comcast’s X1 Talking Guide is helping people like her enjoy the magic of their favorite movies and TV shows in ways they never have before.
Watch “Emily’s Oz.”
“Emily’s Oz” will debut nationally during Sunday’s Academy Awards, and Emily shared her story with the world on the Todayshow just this morning.
This story truly gets at the heart of what matters – innovating and using technology to create products and services that change people’s lives.
Take a moment to watch, reflect and be humbled.
Tom Wlodkowski, leads Comcast’s accessibility efforts, Charlie Herrin, who was an early champion of this work, and all of the individuals on Tony Werner’s team who work so hard every day to bring these products to life. Peter Intermaggio and Sherri Davis are the Marketing Communications team who led the development of this incredible project.
I’d also encourage you to visit EmilysOz.com for an equally touching behind-the-scenes look at the making of the ad and to learn more about the work Comcast is doing in the area of accessibility.
