I received a Purggo and Purggo mini in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own.
Driving around with my kiddos and our dog was taking a toll on my pocket book. My kiddos are notorious beasts who fail to remove their half eaten sandwiches, leave their “take home” bag in the car and take their shoes and socks off for long drives. Bailey Mae, our dog, insists she go with us, but has a habit of becoming car sick and just letting loose wherever she feels sickness must rest. How was it breaking my pocket book? I was spending a fortune on air fresheners trying to control my kiddos and dog pumping up the FUNK!
Trust me. We tried them all. Bottles of Febreze (they roll around, or the kiddos think they need to douse themselves in it), that candle trick where you put the candle in the cup holder and remove the lid, letting the heat just waif the scent into the air. Clippies for the vents. Dangling trees from the mirror. I even bought the renuzit cones and tucked them under the seats.
This month we tried out the Purggo and life has become a lot less smelly.
A natural air freshener that uses bamboo charcoal to eliminate odors.
All those attempts, and various air fresheners were merely masking the odor and filling our space with toxic chemicals.
Purggo is eco-friendly and uses a safe, all-natural component sourced from renewable natural resources, and removes particles from the air, rather than just masking them. Bamboo charcoal is housed in a hemp fabric. It’s fragrance free and allergen free.
It didn’t occur immediately. But within 48 hours my vehicle had no odors. None.
Out of the bag, it looks a lot like a woman’s purse. Don’t let this fool you, its contents are awesome. Four times more pourous than regular charcoal, the bamboo charcoal adsorbs odor particles and traps them. Completely removing that odor from the air.
There’s no dangling from the mirrors, clipping to a vent, spraying, rolling bottles, nothing like that. Just hand the Purggo from the back of the seat in the car. It’s out of the way. It’s so convenient you can forget about it for the next 365 days. You should remove it from the car once a month and let it absorb natural sunlight for an hour to remove any moisture and renew the odor-removing qualities.
When it has served its year, its able to be repurposed. Cut open the hemp fabric and remove the charcoal, adding it to your garden or plants as a fertilizer.
The smaller Purggo is awesome for gym bags, hampers, lockers and more! It works the same as its big brother, just smaller for those more personal spaces.
