Instant Pot Easy Creamy Chicken Alfredo Pasta Recipe

  • 16 oz. pasta (I like Rigatoni)
  • 16 oz. Asiago Cheese
  • a pint of Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • 8 oz. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 Tbsp flour
  • 16 oz frozen broccoli
  • 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into cubes
  1. Set InstantPot to saute setting.
  2. Add olive oil and minced garlic.
  3. Stir garlic for 2 minutes and then add chicken chunks.
  4. Saute chicken until almost done, about 4 minutes.
  5. Add white wine.
  6. Add pasta and 2 cups of water. You may need to add more water--you want to "just cover" the pasta.
  7. Add broccoli to the top.
  8. Add mushrooms.
  9. Place lid on Instantpot and place on high on the manual setting for 8-minutes.

  11. Do a quick release.
  12. Check noodles, if they aren't as soft as you like, add another two minutes.
  13. Pour in heavy cream and stir.
  14. Stir in flour.
  15. Turn InstantPot on to saute and stir until sauce thickens.
  16. As soon as it begins to thicken, shut down the unit.
  17. Add cheese.
