There are few things I like more than a wicked good cupcake. I love the individual portion. I love that I can have one in each hand. I love that there are options. I love everything about a cupcake.
With sadness, I have to admit there have been cupcakes in my past that have had me waking up to get to the bakery on a weekend, to claim another one as my own. Then I move away and my mouth craves their yumminess, but too many miles between us make it impossible.
One night, while watching ABC’s Shark Tank I saw Wicked Good to Go jars and thought, “Wow! That would end the insanity. A delicious cupcake delivered to my door. Heck! They’d make great gifts for any occasion or something great to send someone something special.
This week, I was fortunate enough to partner with Wicked Good Cupcakes to share with you, my family’s experience with the brand and their Wicked Good to Go jars.
Each Wicked Good Cupcakes jar is hand packed with 2 CUPCAKES and they last up to 10 days without refrigeration. They can also be frozen for up to 6 months. Shipping is to anywhere in the United States via UPS.
The package arrived, well packed. In fact, when we opened it I was so taken by how beautiful it was inside.
There is so much detail in this box of deliciousness. The jars are nestled individually in their own cubby. There was a personalized note to me. A card telling me where it came from and four plastic silver spoons. The kiddos took the latter as a sign we were to immediately dig into to the desserts!
Out of the box, the cupcakes are adorable. Four petite jars with a simple layer and the cupcake calling through the glass.
The Wicked Good Cupcakes taunted us with their peek-a-boo packaging. The kiddos were picking up the jars, turning them and commenting on the layers of flavors.
After dinner came the question everyone at my house had been waiting to hear:
Which Wicked Good Cupcake Flavor is Calling YOUR Name?
The Strawberry Lemon Flavor: lemon and strawberry cake layered with strawberry jam and lemon buttercream frosting.
Chocolate Lab Flavor: Moist chocolate cake with a rich chocolate ganache center, chocolate buttercream frosting.
We also received the Wicked Good Cupcake Neapolitan Flavor: chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry cake layered with vanilla buttercream frosting.
It, however, disappeared with my husband, while I was taking photos of the Tiramisu.
He said it was “Excellent!”
Wicked Good Cupcakes are just that–Wicked Good! They are moist and the layers of flavor are complex complements of one another giving the overall bite one of extraordinary indulgence.
My family loved the Strawberry Lemon best, but it was marginal because they were all incredible tasting. My kiddos, who aren’t fans of coffee, even enjoyed a bite of the Tiramisu because they didn’t want to “miss out”.
Wicked Good Cupcakes offer delicious cupcakes. Stop by their shop in Boston (Faneuil Hall) or order directly from the Wicked Good Cupcakes website. There’s a flavor for you, or someone special.
