Cottonelle In-Home Party

Our weekend was spent doing an Earth Day party, thanks to Cottonelle! We save toilet paper rolls; it was the perfect medium for many great activities.

Cottonelle In-Home Party

We’re gearing up for the camping and hiking season, and one of our go-to’s is fire starters made from toilet paper rolls. I keep a bag by the dryer and put all the lint pulled from the dryer into the bag. We then stuff the lint into toilet paper tubes. During the winter, we keep these in a crate by the fireplace; during the summer, they are light enough and small enough to tuck in a backpack or keep in our camping gear box. They are easy to light, making them a great fire starter!

I shared this great project from Apartment Therapy, using the toilet paper roll as a cord holder. I’m really hoping one finds its way to me for Mother’s Day because I think it’s an amazing idea!

We played a game where we all shared ways we use empty toilet paper rolls.

Some of the moms were so creative:

1.) Place a toilet paper tube inside wet gloves and attach to a hanger with a clothespin. Hang in sun. Helps gloves dry much faster.

2.) Stuff undergarments, pantyhose, and socks inside toilet paper tubes to keep drawers organized.

3.) Cut the cardboard into 2″ sections and place on the paint tray. Fill tubes with soil and plant seeds. Great way to start the garden before moving plants outside!

4.) Use the roll to place plastic bags from the grocery store. Load from the top, pull from the bottom!

Everyone who came left with a Cottonelle Roll Cover filled with one luxurious roll of Cottonelle Toilet Paper! I love these roll holders. They look nice in a bathroom and there’s always a spare when you need one!

Save those toilet paper rolls, their useful everywhere!
