- Always carry a roll of Kleenex
Always carry a roll of Kleenex with you because sometimes public bathroom can run out of them and you need them to avoid carrying germs when visiting a public bathroom. Sometimes the toilet paper in the public bathroom can be filthy. The toilet paper dispensers can contain germs as well. In such cases you need to carry a roll of Kleenex. - Clean the toilet seat
Though research have stated that the toilet seat is the least likely place to carry germs you must take extra precaution even when using the toilet seat. Clean the toilet seat before you sit on it with Kleenex. Alternatively, you can put some Kleenex on top of the toilet seat before you use it. This will prevent you from carrying germs from the toilet seat. If the toilet seat looks cracked and filthy then avoid using it entirely.
- Avoid touching the floor
The floor of the public bathroom contains the most germs and you must be especially careful not to touch the floor with your feet or put any belongings on the floor. Avoid the need to put bags, toilet paper or cellphone or any belongings in the floor as well. Also, use the Kleenex to open the door after you have washed your hands as door knobs also consist of a number of germs.
There is no perfect way to be absolutely 100% germ free of course but with these thorough techniques you can avoid carrying lethal germs from the public bathroom and put your mind at ease.
