You may remember not too long ago I did a feature and giveaway for “Artistry by McKenzie*G”.
As a thank you for that feature, McKenzie sent my girls two absolutely darling hair accessories.
They’ve been wearing them and getting so many compliments.
The first hair accessory my girls unwrapped was this large hot pink, white and black hair barrette.
It is adorned with beads and buttons and is perfect for so many hairstyles.
Abi’s favorite way to wear it is at the top of a ponytail.
My MacKenzie likes to wear it to hold up her short hair.
The barrette is sturdy.
It is of high-quality.
My girls usually complain that the barrettes trap their hair and then we have to struggle to unwind their hair from the clasps.
We have not had this issue with the Aristry by McKenzie*G hair clip.
It has held securely and does not tangle the hair.
The backside of the clip is a soft, hot pink knit.
It is very professional looking and made with great craftsmanship.
The front side is button bows in various sizes.
Each ‘circle’ is accented with a button or a variety of sizes, textures and colored beads.
These capture the sunlight and make this piece truly unique.
My girls absolutely LOVE this hair accessory.
The second clip we received is made of feathers.
Hands down it is BOTH of my girls’ favorite.
They love it so much in fact we’ve had to divide the day so they could EACH wear it.
The colors (brown, black and pink) are harmonious and coordinate well with our “girly” clothes.
This barrette is made from an alligator clip and unlike the ones used on some of our other hair bows, this one actually stays in…even in my MacKenzie’s thin hair.
It’s the only alligator clip hair accessory that has come home from school in her hair, rather than in her backpack!
The feathers are securely placed on the clip and survived the playground, school and everyday wear.
I was impressed.
Abi managed to talk her sister into wearing “purple” and claimed BOTH “Artistry by McKenzie*G” clips for the day!
My girls love “Artistry by McKenzie*G” hair accessories.
They are unique. Well made and fun and flirty–like a hair accessory should be!
As the mom, I appreciate that they are dainty enough for my six and seven year old and even I can wear them at 40 and not feel like I’m “workin’ it”.
I am impressed with the quality and craftsmanship and the attention to detail that McKenzie puts into each piece.
