Those sassy waitresses are back on DVD with 2 BROKE GIRLS:the Complete Fourth Season. Join the girls at the greasy spoon diner as they try to raise cash for their successful business dream of owning a cupcake bakery.
At the end of each episode, there is a tally of how much money the girls have towards their dream.
It’s one of my favorite sit-coms with snarky humor. Kat Dennings is such a funny woman and has such a great sense of delivery to make the humor that much more funny!
Max Black (Kat Dennings) whose streetwise is the child of a poor working-class mother and an unknown father. She joins Caroline Channing (Beth Behrs), who was born rich but is now disgraced and penniless due to her father, Martin Channing, getting caught operating a Ponzi scheme. The two meet at a greasy spoon Brooklyn diner and become room-mates.
If you’ve followed the sit-com, you know Max started as a part-time nanny for Peach Landis (Brooke Lyons) twin babies. In the second season of 2 Broke Girls, they are given a loan of $20,000 and start their cupcake shop. The dream fails and the girls are back to the being waitresses, setting the tally back to $1.00.
If nothing else Max and Caroline are not quitters. They reopen their cupcake shop in the back room of the diner and take walk up orders. They look to improve their skills and attend/work for the Manhattan School of Pastry.
While they save their tips, they’ll stay at the restaurant, working with Oleg, an overly flirtatious Russian cook; Earl, a 75-year-old kool-kat cashier; and Han Lee, the new, eager-to-please owner of the diner. Working together, these two broke girls living in one expensive city might just find the perfect recipe for their big break.
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment (WBHE) is excited to announce 2 Broke Girls: The Complete Fourth Season DVD featuring all 22 episodes from the fourth season plus never-before-seen extras!
