ZangZing #Review and #Giveaway

Photos are something I enjoy. I miss the days of film cameras. The experience of clicking the camera, dropping the film off, and picking it up to revisit the memories captured. At some point, my husband convinced me digital was the way to go. I obliged and we have a hard drive full of pictures. I have tried various photo storage sites–losing many pictures when they failed to back up their system or when they closed.

ZangZing: Photo Sharing Redesigned

I spend so much time searching for a picture I know we took but can’t recall if I have it on Photobucket, Shutterfly, Flickr, hard drive, Kodak Gallery or where? It’s frustrating and the time spent is memories I could be making. Finally, there is an online photo album that allow pictures to be imported from virtually any photo album!

Many of us publish photos to Facebook and Twitter. We all think our children are beautiful, want to boast our vacation away from the chaos or just share a moment in our time. It’s a great resource for those of us who shared digital albums through photo-sharing websites. It is all fun and games until you try and drag a photo from the site to create a photo album or print.

Meet my newest obsession, ZangZing. It’s a photo-sharing site with one of the easiest interfaces I’ve ever experienced. Imagine creating digital albums from all sorts of sources! Think of illustrated animations the adding of an image to an album. Do you dream of one click and all photos appear? In six steps, you can build an album without complication. That’s the beauty of ZangZing!

Upload pictures, order photo gifts and products and share with friends. It really is that simple.

I was doubtful. I started with Kodak Gallery. I clicked on the folder and, like magic, my gallery photos were transferred to Zang Zing. Then I went down the list and transferred pictures from all the sites we have pictures stored on to one place, ZangZing.

The simplicity was amazing. It gave me time to look at my pictures. The kiddos gathered around and we enjoyed having our life in one place.

zangzing: it's this easy!

Once the pictures are uploaded to ZangZing it gets easier. You can set an album’s privacy permissions. Choose Public, Hidden (if someone knows the link to the album they can see it) or Password. It’s really that simple. No more guessing if the album will be shared with the entire web or just those you select…and it’s easy enough Grandma can view them without a community class on computers. I love that!

Check out all the possibilites ZangZing offers to add and share pictures:

  • Email Photos directly into the album via smartphones. Each album has a unique email address in the format of “album-name@username.zangzing.com“.  Any spaces in the album name are replaced with hyphens.
  • Import Photos from Other Sites, including Facebook, Flickr, Instagram, Kodak Gallery, Photobucket, Picasa Web, Shutterfly, and SmugMug.
  • Upload Photos from Your Computer, including from your PC, Mac, Picasa Desktop, or iPhoto.

Tired of Waiting for Photos to Upload from your Computer?
When uploading photos from your computer, you can use the Simple Uploader or the ZangZing Desktop Photo Uploader. Our favorite, of course, is the ZangZing Desktop Photo Uploader, which integrates with your browser to let you view photos in grid or picture view, browse your iPhoto and Picasa photos, more easily select multiple photos, and upload your photos in the background so that you can do other things.

If you’d like to learn more, click on How to Add Photos or the Simple Uploader and ZangZing Desktop Photo Uploader.

I signed up for the ZangZing newsletter and I’m delighted to report there’s no spam. I get an email maybe once a week. It’s filled with helpful information to continue to make my experience successful. I appreciate that my inbox isn’t overloaded by one company and that the information they send is relevant to me.

Take a moment to see for yourself. Discover easy and trust your precious keepsakes to ZangZing.
