Clear the area, and get ready for a fast-paced game known as Mr. Bucket. He’s the original racing, chase-the-bucket game that’s ready for two to four players ages four and older.
Mr. Bucket comes with an easy-to-assemble bucket, four shovels, 12 balls (3 of each color), and instructions. For gameplay, you will need three AA batteries, not included.
The first time you remove Mr. Bucket from the box, you’ll need to affix the stickers and snap on his arms. It takes just a few minutes for assembly and once is all it takes.
The object of the game is to race to be the first to scoop up all your colored balls with your shovel. Mr. Bucket moves around the floor, making it a bit of a challenge. To further the challenge, Mr. Bucket also shoots the balls out of his mouth during play.
We recommend a playing area of 6-feet by 6-feet and on a hard surface for best play. Mr. Bucket tends not to run well on carpeted areas.
To begin play, scatter the colored balls randomly on the floor within three feet of Mr. Bucket. One shovel and matching colored balls are required for each player. If playing with fewer than four players, extra balls and shovels should be set aside.
The first player to get all three of their colored balls inside Mr. Bucket quickly lifts Mr. Bucket by the handle, which prevents him from popping out any more balls.
