Traveling is something we often do, and the first thing that happens when we arrive is Mom becomes a super inspector seeking bed bugs. To be honest, I don’t know what I’m looking for, but if it is moving, I’m squashing it!
Bed bugs are a menace that has been in existence since the dawn of human civilization. They made headlines back in 2011 when they seemed to be taking over the country, one bed at a time.
Once the infestation starts, getting rid of bed bugs is extremely difficult.
Nothing ruins travel like loss of sleep and the weariness of people. This is why we pack Fairy Tales Sleep-Tite Bed Bug Spray. It comes in a convenient 3-ounce bottle so packing it is a cinch!
We have been using Fairy Tales product line for about six years. It is my secret weapon against the things, like Lice, that aren’t part of my Fairy Tale.
While I have never seen a bed bug, I know that pesticides are not something I want around my family. The odor is horrendous and can trigger allergies. Fairy Tales Sleep-Tite Bed Bug Spray is one of the only non-toxic bed bug treatments on the market. This means there is no harm done to anyone apart from the bed bugs.
It has a pleasant smell–maybe lavender and jasmine? Nothing overbearing, unlike pesticides which leave a strong pungent odor.
We spray the bed and around our suitcases when we arrive at the hotel. It’s a spritz that lets us sleep tite and not let the bed bugs bite.
I like that Sleep-Tite gives me total control. I can spray it on the areas that concern me most, mattresses, bedding, drapes, and furniture where bed bugs hide.
Fairy Tales Sleep-Tite Ingredients:
Active Ingredients: Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (1.48%), Sodium Chloride (0.5%), Potassium Sorbate (0.05%); Inactive Ingredients: Water, Yeast, Acetic Acid
There is no such product for bed bug prevention on the market at this time. Sleep-Tite is an enzymatic formula that will kill bed bugs and their eggs on contact. It has no residual killing properties so make sure you spray the bugs and eggs directly.
Wow this product is awesome. I also am a person who is pretty picky about sleeping in new beds when traveling. Is this spray asthma friendly? If yes then I have found the perfect product for me 😀
You would need to check with the manufacturer. It has a pump spray; if that helps answer the question?
I have been using this brand forever! Love the smell of the shampoo and the way my grand daughter’s hair feels so soft after I use it on her, it’s so easy to comb! That plus ,hopefully, repelling lice since she started kindergarten this year! Love the Rosemary Repel line
You are a soul after my own heart. We love this brand too. It is gentle and still effective. Thank you for sharing!
