Sister Schubert’s Review

Bread is something I make that tells my family I love them. I love the process of kneading, watching it rise, and shaping it into balls or loaves. Recently, we tried a new twist on bread as I set the dinner table with Sister Schubert’s new Mini Baguettes and Soft Pretzel Rolls. There was on the spot drooling!

Sister Schubert’s Mini Baguettes

We tried the Mini Baguettes first. They were sinfully easy. Take them out of the freezer, open the bag, place them on a baking sheet, and bake. I served them with homemade tomato soup, a family favorite. Everyone LOVED these rolls. There are some great textures here, crisp crust on the outside and warm, dense deliciousness on the inside. We dipped them in the soup, and one of us even smothered there’s in butter. I don’t think there’s a way these can be eaten that wouldn’t be scrumptious!

We followed with Soft Pretzel Rolls served with Chicken in Port. I had never experienced a Pretzel Roll before, so I had no idea what to expect. Like the Mini Baguettes, Sister Schubert makes it easy to prepare and serve fresh bread with every meal. The Pretzel Rolls are tender on the inside with the texture of a soft pretzel and the outside is a subtle crisp. They were fantastic!

When all was eaten, my family could not believe this was frozen bread! I loved that from freezer to table in less than ten minutes, these rolls are easy and deliver great taste in no time.

Our only complaint was that a six-count bag doesn’t last long!

Sister Schubert’s Mini Baguettes and Pretzel rolls are available for a suggested retail price of $3.79 for a six-count bag; of course, store pricing may vary.

Sister Schubert goes beyond these two frozen breads; visit their website to discover the large variety of frozen pre-baked rolls at Sister Schubert’s!
