Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops to the Rescue During Flu and Cold Season

We’re packing Pine Bros. Softish Throat relief drops because like it or not, a new year and straight into cold and flu season.

I’ve already proclaimed 2017 is going to be ridiculously amazing. My plans do not include being down with the cold or flu, or a sore throat that seems to keep company with the season.

This time of year we turn to Pine Bros.

I like these softish throat drops. They don’t have menthol, the one ingredient my children will cry, “medicine!” upon their first taste or smell.

Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops made with glycerin and gum acacia that helps relieve dry mouth–a side effect of sinus medicine and nasal decongestants.

Created by a German confectionery maker by the name of Herman Pine who was looking to cure his sore throat. Pine combined the soothing natural qualities of glycerin with the healing properties of gum acacia, some natural flavoring and a touch of sweetener yielded a softish throat drop.
The rest is history.

Pine Bros. Sugar Free Wild Cherry

This may be my favorite flavor of the Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops. Not only are the sugar-free, but they are also vegan and gluten-free as well. No artificial dyes instead elderberry extract is used.

Wild Cherry is a flavor I associate with cough drops, but without the menthol and the softish texture, Pine Bros. offered relief. The texture is similar to a gummy, just a little more firm.

Pine Bros. Vitamin C

These Pine Bros. throat drops are tasty. I like that they have Vitamin C because it is a natural immunity builder. Again, no menthol and the texture is soft but not quite as soft as a gummy.

I will say that Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops are incredibly delicious tasting. I have to pack just a few in a baggie to take with me in my purse. Otherwise, I will eat the entire bag!

I also find these great when I work out at the gym. There are times I am on the Elliptical and realizing I lack coordination, don’t attempt to drink my water, so I end up with a dry mouth. I have discovered that I can suck on one Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drop during my work out and it helps keep my mouth moist until I can reach for hydration!

You can find Pine Bros. at most major supermarkets (Harris Teeter, Wal-Mart) and drugstore chains (CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens). They are also available online from the Pine Bros. website or Amazon. In addition to these two new flavors, other flavors are available like Original Wild Cherry, Licorice, Lemon-Lime, and Natural Honey. I am so eager to try the licorice flavor!
