The Perfect Dress for The Princess Festival #Giveaway (Utah)

Princess Festival logo

I have daughters. We believe in Fairy tales. I’ve read the books and the articles on Princess syndrome and after watching my girls I’m not buying into it. I think dress up and dreaming of being a Princess is a good thing. It worked for Kate Middleton, but above that there are some very incredible core values that can be learned while dressing and dreaming of being a Princess.

In fact, during June it’s all we can think about…being Princess for a Day at THE PRINCESS FESTIVAL!  We attended last year and I have to tell you, it was the ULTIMATE Princess experience. Sure, we dressed to the nines in evening gowns worthy of Prince Charming’s attention, we wore glitter and bling, but the true inspiration was being a Princess on the INSIDE by making a difference in the world using grace, compassion and courage.

The Princess Festival will appear again with the magic of Thanksgiving Point’s award-winning gardens as the backdrop. Mark your calendars for June 19-30 @ Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah as the journey continues with interactive activities and fun and the introduction of Princess Sonrisa!

Join The 12 Dancing Princesses (the sequel to last years’ adventure), Rupelstilskin and participate in charity crafts and activities to give back to the kingdom!

One of the highlights for The Divine Miss M last year was the search for Classical Princesses who were on site for autographs and pictures and some dramatic fun!

The entire festival is self-paced so there’s time to celebrate values we know and focus on ones that need a little more refining.

In addition to the fun, The Princess Festival is a fund-raiser for Our Own Quiet Way, a charity started by Lindon developer, Ron Hatfield, to help Kenyans get access to clean and affordable water. The foundation is launching a computerized mapping program to help the Kenyan government chart its current infrastructure and help plan for future growth.

Girl ages 4 to 10 are invited to dress as their favorite Princess.
