Love Granite but don’t love the price tag that comes a long with it? Believe it or but what you see pictured above is not real granite, it’s only painted to LOOK like real granite. Here’s a little snippet of the review my VA Justine did.
Here’s the before countertops:
“My fiancé and I purchased our house in 2011 almost completely remodeled with the exception of the bathrooms and laundry room. The master bathroom had a Formica laminate countertop that was made to look like marble but is worn and outdated; the laundry room had a yellow Formica laminate countertop that looked original to our 1977 house. We chose the Bombay Black paint kit for our
look-a-like granite countertops and I couldn’t have been happier with the easy paint by numbers process. I would use the Emerald green in my kitchen. The counter tops are beige with big black spots showing through from years of use. Very ugly.

The counters in our two bathrooms are all we have left to tackle in those two rooms.
Didn’t want the expense of new counter tops, so this is PERFECT!
I have white cabinets and white subway tile and currently white countertops, so I would LOVE to add the Bombay Black for a modern twist!

I like the sapphire blue for my kitchen. I hate the counter tops in there.
I have two small bathroom countertops that I want to redo and my Kitchen countertops are going to have giani Granite on them real soon!
