Instant Pot Chicken and Dumplings Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 Tbl oil
  • 1 onion, peeled and diced
  • 10.5 ounce can of cream of celery soup
  • 10.5 ounce can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 Tbl. fresh parsley
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (diced)
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups frozen peas and carrots, defrosted
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits
Directions
  1. Press SAUTE on Instant Pot
  2. Add oil
  3. Add chopped onion to Instant Pot
  4. Place diced chicken breasts on top of onions
  5. Brown chicken
  6. In a small bowl, stir together soups, parsley, and seasonings.
  7. Pour soup mixture over chicken
  8. Add chicken broth
  9. Add peas and carrots
  10. Quarter each biscuit with knife, or pizza cutter and add to pot OR Roll biscuit into long "rope" and slice into 1-inch pieces.
  11. Place lid on Instant Pot
  12. Press MANUAL HIGH for 8-minutes
  13. Allow for Natural Pressure Release for 5 minutes
  14. Release pressure
  15. Serve
