Over winter break, I read A Dog’s Purpose. It was such a heartwarming book that made me reflect on my two dogs and the important roles they play in our family.

On January 27th, A Dog’s Purpose is coming to theaters, and I couldn’t be more excited!

I just had so much fun sharing Jeb and Bailey Mae’s role in our lives on the film’s Poster Generator, and then the kids, and I created our own poster using a photo of each of our dogs.

Here’s Bailey Mae’s poster:

I love our fur baby Ozzy! He’s a black lab/border collie. He keeps me company all day while everyone else is at school/work. And when we’re all here, he feels his purpose is to ‘herd’ us until we’re all where we’re supposed to be!

  2. Marilyn Nawara says

I have 3 dogs that I love like children — Fang is a Westie, Gunner is an Australian Shepard and Queenie is a Border Collie.

  3. Tara Liebing says

My dog’s purpose is to be a companion to each other, to look out for each other and I need her as much as she needs me. To me my dog is a family member not a pet.

I have a cat and fish (our neighbor has a dog and I bet he would like the dog stuff) and they have many different purposes… including teaching my kids responsibility.

  5. Starla B says

My dogs purpose is to be loved and in return give us love. He brightens up my life without a doubt. My precious Nana passed this past May and it has been the worst year of my life expectedly. My big boy Bentley is the most loving, comforting companion I could have asked for and I am so very thankful for him!

My neighbor’s dog comes over to visit my son and I just so we can pet him. Sometimes he’ll run with my son in the yard. He just makes us smile and then he goes back home!

I love that dogs are here to love without asking for anything in return. My dog does that for me. She has helped me through break ups and family deaths and I am so glad she is my best friend.

Unfortunately I don’t have a dog right now – but I did have Yorkies, bred them and also had a cocker spaniel many years ago. I miss them so much, they were amazing and such loving animals. No matter how bad my day was, they were always there to make me feel better. Right now I have a new kitten about 4 months old and hope to have another dog in the near future 🙂
