Review

I dread when the ground is thawed, and it’s time to come out from all those layers of clothing. It’s more than just the Winter weight I’ve packed on; it’s the thought of a swimming suit. I have a long torso and short legs, my bottom is smaller than my top, and finding swimwear that fits and makes me feel like going to the pool is a chore! My solution has been finding a suit that fits my bottom and wearing a long tee shirt.

Another woman who experienced this same issue is Brittney. She felt the perfect swimming suit didn’t exist. Brittney made her swimsuit and then made a few for friends and family, and word spread. They were comfortable, versatile, and stylish. In 2008 she opened a shop and was met with an overwhelming response. Her experience gave her a priceless understanding of women’s needs, wants, and insecurities in swimwear.

That understanding enabled Brittney to design an entire line of Essential Swimwear swimming suits for the 2010 season.
Demand has made it impossible for Brittney to hand-make each suit, but she now can offer styles, designs, and a price that meets the needs of women.
I was able to review Essential Swimwear. First, what I love about Essential Swimwear is that you create your swimming suit. You select your top and bottom. Whether you want a tank style or traditionally strapped style top, you can coordinate with a skirted bottom or regular bottom. The possibilities are amazing.

I selected the Blue Palms Sweetheart top. I love the blues, and the design caught my eye. It has adjustable straps and a sweetheart neckline. I love that it fits my torso well. My downfall is that the bust has built-in soft cups, and I’m a little more endowed than they desire.

To coordinate, I selected the Black Hipster bottoms. They fit amazingly well and stay put without creeping into places they shouldn’t.

Both Essential Swimwear tops and bottoms are soft and comfortable. They aren’t restricting and give me a great feeling of comfort and style.

The tops average $32.99 and the bottoms $18.99-$24.99, depending on the style selected.

I feel confident that I will look forward to every year that Essential Swimwear is a swimming suit. I love that I was able to select the size for my upper body and my lower body for a fit that flatters my figure.

You can purchase Essential Swimwear online or consider hosting an Essential Swimwear party, where you can earn a free-swimming suit from their great selection!
