XLEAR Nasal Spray and Kid’s Clear Review
I’m sure my children aren’t the only ones who rush out the door at the first ray of sunlight and have to be dragged back indoors as the sun disappears on the horizon. My children love being outside. Unfortunately, they suffer from allergies and let’s face it, and they simply cannot take the Hepa Filter and Humidifier with them. Therefore, they breathe in allergens, toxins, and bacteria that lead to allergies.
My four year old suffers the most. I think he’s allergic to everything out there–grass, tree pollens, flower pollen, hay. He comes in, kicking and screaming with bug-puffy eyes that itch, a running nose, and constant sneezing. He looks miserable but insists, “I’m fine,” as he looks over his shoulder on his way back out.
I was contacted to review Kid’s Clear, and when it arrived, I was excited. I had no idea it was manufactured down the road–okay, many towns over, in Orem, Utah. Wow! As a bonus, my husband, whom Li’l Man seems to take after, also suffers from allergies…the difference is…Li’l Man is far more of a trooper than Mr. Dreamy Husband! Go figure!
Before sending Li’l Man and the Divine Miss M outside, I had them blow their nose and then insert the nozzle of the Kid’s Clear into their nose and release the spray. I found it very easy to use, and after a couple of times, the kiddos had no issues with it. At first, they were somewhat startled and as Li’l Man twice exclaimed, “sticking things up your nose is GROSS!”
The result of Kid’s Clear was some far more comfortable children. There were only two occasions when Li’l Man’s eyes were swollen nearly closed. I think it had more to do with the grass having just been mowed and him being a human tumble machine down the grassy hill than anything.
How does Kid’s Xlear work?
Xlear contains Xylitol, a naturally occurring sweetener found in plants and fruits and is produced in small amounts by the human body. Xylitol prevents bacteria from sticking to the nasal wall. Typical nasal sprays only contain saline, which does not prevent bacteria from sticking.

Admittedly, it took a couple of uses to give him full relief. He did notice right away a release of pressure in his sinuses. The Xlear is far more effective than traditional saline sprays without the Xylitol.
